Forum Title: trouble hanging a door
I need help, I am in a pinch trying to hang new doors. I have done them before in 6 doors in the down stairs of my house. I am using 3.5 Schlaage hinges. I router'd out my own hinge recesses using a Black and Decker router template and they are flush on the door and frame. Now I hang the door and it will not close It gets to about 3~4 inches before being close and then it looks like the hinges are going to pull off the door or jamb/frame. Some weird tension thing. Can't figure it out. There is 1/4 gap at the floor (for saddle) and 1/8 at the top to clear the jamb/frame. Thoughts?

My bet is the hinges are on backwards. It happens.
